Introduction: The Fragile Power of Natural Materials
Wood stands out as a primary material in sustainable construction and natural living environments. However, being a part of nature, it is highly vulnerable to threats also originating from nature itself. Termites, woodworms, fungi, mold, and even fire risk are among the main factors that reduce the lifespan of wood. AyDo™ Water Rehabilitation Systems offer a durable yet nature-aligned solution to these challenges. Based on Super Ionized Water (SIW) technology, the system internally protects and transforms the structure of wood.
Protection with SIW: A Transformation from Within
The AyDo™ system goes beyond traditional impregnation methods by penetrating the molecular structure of the wood. Its special composition alters the pH balance, preventing harmful organisms from surviving. In this way, the system provides not just superficial but deep-rooted protection. Wood becomes more than a shielded surface — it becomes a resilient structure.
Natural Defense Against Pests
Subterranean pests such as termites, known for breaking down cellulose and collapsing structures, are fully neutralized by SIW’s penetration into the wood’s inner layers. The system interrupts the feeding and reproduction cycles of harmful organisms at their source.
Invisible Protective Layer
After SIW application, an invisible but lasting barrier forms on the wood’s surface. This layer provides long-term resistance to fungi and mold while helping the wood maintain its natural moisture balance.
Application Principles
AyDo™ solutions are implemented using vacuum impregnation (autoclave) or full immersion techniques. The duration is tailored based on the absorbency of each material. Thanks to recyclable immersion pools, product waste is minimized, contributing to both environmental and economic sustainability.
Conclusion: Eco-Friendly Assurance
Wood protected with AyDo™ technology is respectful to nature, harmless to the environment, yet incredibly strong and long-lasting. The system contains no harmful chemicals and contributes holistically to environmental safety and structural reliability.
Technical Note – Suitable Material Forms and Processing Conditions
AyDo™ Water Rehabilitation Systems are fully compatible with 100% natural and untreated solid woods such as pine, oak, teak, and walnut.
Composite or engineered wood derivatives (e.g., MDF, OSB, particleboard, plywood, laminate) can only be considered compatible if their base fibers are treated with SIW before they are pressed and bonded.
Application Process – Full Immersion Method with SIW
In the AyDo™ Water Rehabilitation System, wooden materials are immersed into specially prepared deep SIW tanks using chain-supported carrier systems. The application process involves the following steps:
1. Material Evaluation and Preparation
Naturally structured and untreated wood is evaluated. Surfaces are cleaned, and fiber integrity is checked.
2. Immersion
Wooden blocks are fully immersed in SIW (Super Ionized Water) tanks. They remain in the solution for a standardized duration to ensure uniform treatment.
3. Ionic Interaction
During this phase, SIW penetrates the fibrous structure of the wood. Harmful organisms are neutralized, and a protective resonance layer forms at the surface level.
4. Drying and Resting
The treated wood is removed and left to dry either under natural sunlight or in a controlled environment. This helps preserve the long-lasting protective layer and balances the surface's energetic field.
5. Ready for Use
After the drying phase is complete, the wood is ready for direct application in areas such as exterior cladding, structural framing, furniture, or agricultural constructions.
